We are delighted that we have been selected as an official qualifier for the Active OCR World Team Championships.

Everyone who crosses the finish line at Parc Penallta on the 17th October has the chance to take part in the World Team Championships (WTC)  in September 2016. This is the first time that the event comes to the UK and you can be part of it. Anyone from elites to fun runners can compete.

SO HOW DO I QUALIFY?

The top 25 finishers  from our elite wave will be eligible to take 3 runners and compete in the elite wave of WTC. Everyone else in the remaining open waves who finish the race will also be able to take a team of 4 and compete in one of the other divisions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to run in the UK alongside some of the best OCR athletes in the world.

We have always said that having a big ego won’t get you very far in this sport and everyone has a mutual respect for each other, whether you are coming first or last. We believe this sums up the WTC ethos perfectly;

‘those that start together, finish together, OCR united’.
