We are delighted that we have been selected as an official qualifier for the Active OCR World Team Championships.
Everyone who crosses the finish line at Parc Penallta on the 17th October has the chance to take part in the World Team Championships (WTC) in September 2016. This is the first time that the event comes to the UK and you can be part of it. Anyone from elites to fun runners can compete.
SO HOW DO I QUALIFY?
The top 25 finishers from our elite wave will be eligible to take 3 runners and compete in the elite wave of WTC. Everyone else in the remaining open waves who finish the race will also be able to take a team of 4 and compete in one of the other divisions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to run in the UK alongside some of the best OCR athletes in the world.
We have always said that having a big ego won't get you very far in this sport and everyone has a mutual respect for each other, whether you are coming first or last. We believe this sums up the WTC ethos perfectly;
'those that start together, finish together, OCR united'.

Welcome on board lads!
This week we paid a visit to our Official Charity Partner 'Marie Curie Wales' in Penarth to hand over the charitable proceeds raised from our Margam Park event.
For every person that registered we made a donation totalling an impressive £950. The money will help Marie Curie nurses provide free hands-on care for people with all terminal illnesses in their own homes, and vital emotional support for their loved ones. Whether someone has cancer, heart failure, dementia or another disease, they will do whatever it takes to makes things easier. Marie Curie give comfort and take away the fear, allowing families to make the most of the most precious time they have left together, day or night, until the very end.
We are extremely proud to continue to support and raise funds for Marie Curie Wales and it's down to the commitment of all our participants that we are able to do this.
So from our Race Directors Adam and Natasha - A huge thank you to everyone who took part. You can help further by agreeing to run and fundraise for Marie Curie Wales at our upcoming event at Parc Penallta. You will receive a running vest, training plan, online fundraising pack and
With our Parc Penallta event just 12 weeks away your thoughts will no doubt be turning to the need for some serious training and perhaps some proper OCR kit.
We thought we'd give you a nudge in the right direction with the launch of our new sportswear range and online shop. We've been working closely with our official event supplier Classic Sportswear to develop some key pieces that will see you through the toughest gym sessions and the demands of event day. You'll find everything from base layers to compression shorts, training vests and hoodies with new lines regularly being added.
